November 9, 10, 12, and 13, 2015 – 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
As part of the Riverside County Transportation Commission’s 91 Project, there will be nighttime full closures of southbound 15 at the 91 interchange on Nov. 9, 10, 12 and 13, 2015. The roadway will close at 10 p.m. and reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning. No work will occur on Nov. 11 due to the observance of Veterans Day.
As a detour, motorists can take the southbound 15 connector to eastbound 91, use the McKinley Street off-ramp, and then enter the westbound 91 to reconnect to southbound 15 (please see detour map below).
The closures will allow crews to place temporary support for the construction of a bridge that, when completed, will serve as the new express lane connector between the 15 and 91.
Motorists are reminded to allow extra travel time, follow the designated detour and watch for construction workers and signs. Motorists also are cautioned to use reduced speeds when approaching the detour route. Speed limits on the 15 and the 91 are 55 MPH, and fines are doubled in construction zones.
