Last night, July 5, 2016 at about 10:00 p.m., officers responded to the La Sierra Neighborhood regarding a family disturbance. A family member reported that her brother was intoxicated and was walking around the house with a knife. The residence was secured and the suspect was detained. The investigation revealed, the suspect had forcefully taken money from his mother, and stated he was going to burn the house down as he carried a gas can into a bedroom. The suspect was arrested and booked into jail for robbery and making threats to commit terroristic acts.
