On Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 8:30 P.M., Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a call of gunshots being fired and a man down in the area of the 2000 block of Ridgeview Terrace, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Coronita.
Deputies arrived and found a male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The name of the victim will not be released until his identity can be verified and until his next of kin can be notified.
Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Central Homicide Unit and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Jurupa Valley Station responded and assumed the investigation.
